1- troponin

2- CK/CKP

3- myoglobin

4- SOGT (AST)

5- LDH (Lactate dehydrogenase)

1- troponin

Cardiac troponins T and I are the preferred markers for myocardial injury as they have the highest sensitivities and specificities for the diagnosis of cardiac injuries.

2- CK\CPK

Sensitivity and specificity are not as high as for troponin levels

CK-MB levels increase within 3-12 hours of onset of chest pain

3- myoglobin

It is released more rapidly than troponin and CK-MB and may be detected as early as two hours after an acute myocardial infarction.

Myoglobin has high sensitivity but poor specificity.

4- SOGT ( AST )

is an enzyme that is normally present in liver and heart cells

elevated after 8-12 hr of heart injuries

5- LDH (Lactate dehydrogenase)

The total LDH may be influenced by other body tissues, other than the heart

elevated after 24-48 hours of heart injuries
